PURCHASING OFFICER


Duties and Responsibilities

-Responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders and delivery of materials to meet store order requirements, sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and maintaining stock inventory levels within approved guidelines
  • Responsible for in and out of stocks in stockroom. Responsible for ALL items inside the stockroom including equipement / tools.

  • Order Preparation
  • Prepare Delivery Receipt (DR) for each branch
  • Check stock levels from time to time
-Purchasing / Ordering: Responsible for the preparation and processing of purchase orders in accordance with company’s specifications (quality, price, quantity, expiry)
-Handle and monitor claims to vendors for defectives, shortages, spoilage etc.
-Maintain complete and updates purchasing records / data and pricing in the system
  • Receiving Orders and preparing receiving report
  • Check all the invoices vs. actual stocks received 
-Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products by checking actual inventory twice a week and daily stock card everyday. Proper rotation and arrangement of stockroom items (FIFO)
-Familiarize stocks and prices
  • Encode all received invoice
  • Prepare receiving report and submit to disbursement officer with the proper purchase request (if applicable), purchase order and invoice attached
  • Encode DR’s for monthly reports
  • Count monthly inventory
  • Prepare reports and summarize data including branch delivery reports, daily purchasing report, daily stock card, monthly inventory report, receiving reports
  • Proper Filing
-Schedule supplier visits and conduct competitor survey

Qualifications:
-College diploma or equivalent desirable
-Be at least 21 years of age. Preferably 28 - 35 years old
-Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area
-Is able to prepare files (soft and hard copy) in an efficient manner
-Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate Microsoft Excel
-Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
-Preferably Accounting / Management Accounting Graduat

CASHIER/BARISTA/SERVER



Duties and Responsibilities

-Greet customers and take their order or request quickly and in a positive manner.
-Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible. Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness.
-Memorize the entire menu and ingredients of all products
-Maintain dining room (clear tables, restock condiments, napkins, clean spills and empty trash as needed)
-Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
-Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
-Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
-Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale (POS) system and write a ticket, which relays orders to the kitchen and bar. (Cashier only)
-Operate the register system (Cashier only)
-Answer phone and package takeout orders
-Build and deliver all orders according to Caffe Firenzo Procedures
-Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner
-Maintain all bathrooms (stock towels, soaps, clean floor, sink and toilet)
-Maintain bar stations to Caffe Firenzo standards
-Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
-Prep and portion bar items according to prep lists
-Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to supervisor or manager ASAP
-Ordering, restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
-Prepare and serve drinks consistent with the shop’s standard drink recipes
-Learn names and personally recognize our regulars
-Clean inside and outside of windows
-Sweep walkways
-Perform daily cleaning chores
-Organize and maintain storage facilities
-Clean and sanitize dishes
-Assist kitchen in major prep and cleaning
-Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
-Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
-Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change (if applicable)
-Be ready and willing to assist co-workers as situations arise
-Clean and bus tables
-Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
-Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the general manager, operations manager or immediate supervisor.
-Report to work on time and in proper uniform.
-Perform other duties as instructed by your manager.

Qualifications
-Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
-Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register
-Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
-Previous food service experience preferred
-Be physically able to life, reach, bend and stoop
-Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds
-Computer skills, preferable PC, desirable (mandatory for cashiers)
-Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
